%description
A VA-API (libva) backend for V4L2 stateless video decoders using the Media
Request API, by Ondrej Jirman (megi). It lets any VA-API client - mpv, ffmpeg,
Firefox, GStreamer's va plugin - use kernel stateless decoders such as the
Apple Silicon AVD (apple_avd), Rockchip rkvdec/vdpu and Allwinner cedrus with
no application patches.

Codecs are compiled in according to the kernel uAPI headers available at build
time: MPEG-2, H.264, HEVC, VP8, VP9 and AV1. The driver is not auto-selected
by libva (the render node's DRM driver is the GPU, not the decoder), so set
LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME=v4l2_request in the session environment.
