ydotool is not limited to Wayland. You can use it on anything as long as it
accepts keyboard/mouse/whatever input. For example, X11, text console,
"RetroArch OS", fbdev apps (fbterm/mplayer/SDL1/LittleVGL/Qt Embedded), etc.
