# The [ContrastEffect] and [AdaptiveTransparency] blocks below are Klassy's, from its klassy-dark
# style, whose package declares LGPL; this file keeps that licence and its author. See CREDITS.md.
#
# The style's `colors` file beside Plasma's own artwork: that is the whole package.
#
# Measured, on Plasma 6.7.5: a Plasma style whose `colors` file carries a palette for a set the
# panel draws in paints the panel from it and never reads `kdeglobals`, which is why changing the
# colour scheme under `klassy-dark` leaves the panel exactly where it was. What decides it is
# whether the file names one of the panel's sets: KConfig layers `kdeglobals` under every file it
# opens, so a file that names none of them -- this one fixes only the lock and log-out screens'
# set, `Colors:Complementary` -- leaves every colour the panel asks for to the scheme in force,
# and the colours read through this style are byte for byte the ones read with no file at all
# (scripts/probe.py prints them, with `klassy-dark` as the control).
#
# Why the file is there rather than absent: KSvg asks for `colors` on every item it creates and
# never remembers a miss, walking every XDG data directory for this style and then for `default`.
# With no file that is ten to twelve file probes per item, and KRunner creates every row again on
# every keystroke -- measured, 550 probes per fifty items without the file, 50 with it. See
# docs/integrations/kde-plasma.md.
#
# `FallbackTheme` reaches wallpaper defaults and nothing else. Plasma 6 reads it for the
# `[Wallpaper]` settings only; KSvg's own artwork lookup falls back to `default` and to nothing
# else, so what is on screen is Plasma's own panel artwork, recoloured from the scheme as it is
# drawn. Measured with scripts/probe.py: with this style in force, not one file under
# `klassy-dark` is ever asked for. The key is kept because it is harmless and is what any future
# borrowing of Klassy's artwork would build on; it is not why the panel looks the way it does.

# Both blocks are Klassy's own, copied so the panel keeps the contrast and the adaptive
# transparency it has today. They are settings, not artwork, and the only thing of Klassy's that
# reaches the screen through this package.
